Frequently Asked Questions
- What is CyberDrawer?
- There is lots of stuff in the electronic (and real) world but much of it doesn't always come or present itself when you want it or can focus on it. Some examples are banner ads, emails, billboards, signs, printed (newspapers, magazines, etc.) articles and ads, TV commercials, contact information, notes to self, etc. CyberDrawer is a free, internet-based technology that allows you to grab that stuff and save it for later when you can take the time to look at it, and/or act on it. Everyone has a kitchen junk drawer in which they put all of this stuff. However, CyberDrawer is better in that everything that goes into the drawer is organized according to its type (CyberDrawer does this automatically!). In the drawer there are tabs for menus, recipes, appliance user manuals, discount coupons/offers, contacts, notes to self, etc. CyberDrawer will remind you when something in my drawer is about to expire (like a discount coupon on a pizza) and delete items that have expired. With CyberDrawer you can save content that you want for later use, have it automatically organized for you, and retrieve it when you want it and from anywhere using any kind of connected device.
- How do I edit my username, password, or CyberDrawer preferences?
- Once inside your CyberDrawer, click the "My Preferences" button in the lower left-hand corner. From there, you can update your username and password or change your CyberDrawer's functionality.
- How do I find my stuff in my CyberDrawer?
- Once you've logged into your CyberDrawer, you will see all of your saved stuff. All of the information is automatically organized into intuitive categories. Ads are placed into their own section, news articles into another section, recipes into their section, etc.
- Can I move a CyberDrawer offer from one category to another?
- Not at this time. We've designed CyberDrawer to be simple and intuitive given the wide variety of stuff to be organized.
- What is a Voupon?
- Coupons can be frustrating. We've all clipped coupons and then forgotten to use them. We often lose them in the kitchen junk drawer and find them later, well after they've expired.
We've come up with a better coupon that we call Voupon. Voupon offers are paperless coupons. When you 'clip' a Voupon, it attaches to your designated credit card. To redeem it, all you have to do is pay with that credit card and we will automatically credit you with the amount of the discount. Once you've reached $30 in savings, we'll send you a check or gift card.
'Clipping' a Voupon is easy. You will see offers in restaurant and stores as well as in newspaper ads, web sites, billboard and signs to text a keyword to receive a discount. Once you reply with the keyword, you're ready to enjoy the savings. The first time you text to receive a Voupon, you will be directed to register at Cyberdrawer.com.
CyberDrawer saves your Voupons along with a variety of other items. CyberDrawer will alert you when your Voupon is about to expire and will even delete any expired offers.
Voupon eliminates the pain of using coupons. No more digging through the kitchen junk drawer looking for a coupon you think you clipped a few weeks earlier. No more arriving at the store and realizing that you've forgotten the coupon. No more forgetting to use a coupon before it expires. No more concerns about using a coupon in front of a business colleague or a date because no one knows you're using it, not even the clerk at the store. - Where do I find Voupon offers?
- You will see Voupon offers in a variety of places. You may see a restaurant offer on a table topper or sign in that restaurant. You will see offers in ads in newspapers and magazines directing you to text a code to accept the offer. You may see them on billboards and other signage. Eventually, we will have Voupon offers on TV.
- Can I sign up to automatically receive Voupon offers for restaurants and stores in my area?
- Yes. In the 'My Preferences' area, you can opt-in to receive offers available in your area. We'll text you up to three great offers per week.
- How do I accept Voupon offers?
- The Voupon offer will include instructions on how to accept the offer. In many cases, you will be directed to text a keyword to a designated number.
- How do I redeem Voupon offers?
- When you accept a Voupon offer, it becomes attached to your registered credit card. To earn the discount, you only need to pay for the item with that credit card and everything happens automatically. We will credit the discount to your CyberDrawer account. When your account reaches $30, we will send you a check or gift card.
The first time you accept a Voupon offer, you will be directed to www.cyberdrawer.com to register a credit card. - Can I receive a Voupon discount at the point of sale?
- No. Nobody knows that you are using the Voupon at the point of sale. Not the employee of the business offering the Voupon, and not the people with you. The credit card company alerts us when you use a Voupon and we credit your CyberDrawer account with that amount. When your account reaches $30, we will send you a check or gift card based on your preference.
- How long does it take for you to credit my CyberDrawer account with the Voupon savings?
- Depending on how fast the merchant sends its credit card transactions to its processor, we will credit your CyberDrawer account in 3 to 5 days.
- How do I find Voupons and other offers in my CyberDrawer?
- Once you've logged into your CyberDrawer, you will see all of your saved offers. If you have collected a wide variety of offers, you can use the subcategory navigation menu to simplify your search for one of your saved offers and advertisements. For example, to find that saved cookbook coupon, click on the 'Books' category.
- How do I delete expired or unwanted Voupons and other offers in my CyberDrawer?
- Look for the "Delete" column in the page while viewing the offers. Just check the box beside each of the offers you'd like to remove from your CyberDrawer, and then click the 'Delete' button. You can also tell CyberDrawer to automatically delete expired coupons by selecting that option under 'My Preferences.'
